Egyptians have long been known for their sexual prowess, but a new study suggests they could be more likely to become pregnant.
In a study published in this month’sJournal of Clinical Pharmacology, the researchers used a large data set to determine the impact of drugs on pregnancies among Egyptian women.
The research, which is published in the journalJournal of Sexual Medicine, shows that women who took a daily pill of Viagra (sildenafil), a medication approved by the FDA to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, were more likely to become pregnant.
Viagra was approved by the FDA for the treatment of ED in 1994.
The researchers studied a total of 846 women between the ages of 18 and 41, who were randomly assigned to two groups. Women in the Viagra group had been taking a daily pill of Viagra (as needed) for 4 to 5 days and the women in the placebo group took only the medication as needed.
“These results suggest that women who were prescribed Viagra are likely to become pregnant with the same frequency as their peers, and they have a higher risk of experiencing premature birth,” the researchers said.
Women in both groups had a significantly lower chance of becoming pregnant as well as their partners taking the drug.
The researchers noted that the findings were not due to the drug’s safety in general, but because the research was conducted among a large population, the risk of side effects could be lower.
Women with an ED that lasts for more than six months and with a low sex drive were more likely to become pregnant. But a study of women who took two or more drugs to treat ED and had their partners taking the drugs did not reveal any differences in the use of these drugs among those who took the drug.
The researchers said the researchers had not found any significant differences in the side effects between the two groups.
“Our findings provide evidence that there is a possible association between sexual dysfunction and poor blood flow to the penis,” the researchers said.
The study’s authors said their findings do not necessarily suggest that a lack of sexual interest in a woman is a sign of sexual dysfunction.
“It is also possible that there is a relationship between the lack of sexual interest in a woman and sexual dysfunction, including premature birth,” the authors said.
“We do not know for certain whether the lack of sexual interest in a woman is a sign of poor blood flow to the penis or whether poor blood flow to the penis could be a sign of premature birth,” the authors added.
The researchers said the research was conducted among a large population, the results of which are not known.“There is no evidence that women who take Viagra are at risk of developing premature birth or sexual dysfunction in general, and sexual dysfunction does not appear to be a possible reason for the low risk,” the authors said.
In a statement, the researchers said, “This is an important research question that requires a new trial of clinical trial design.”
Viagra is the first drug approved by the FDA to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension. However, its approval by the FDA is subject to strict regulatory approval, which means it must be given to patients who are at least 20 years old.
“The FDA’s approval of Viagra is a milestone for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, and we are committed to ensuring that this important medication is used as the standard of care for all patients,” said Thomas L. Kupfer, M. D., Ph. D., professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and co-author of the study.
Kupfer is a co-author on the paper and is a principal investigator of a study published in the journalCochrane Reviews.
Facts about the Study

The groups were divided into two groups. The Viagra group took sildenafil (as needed) for four weeks and the placebo group took sildenafil (as needed) for three days. The women in the Viagra and placebo groups took Viagra or a placebo.
