In a recent article, the Australian Government announced a series of measures aimed at reducing the cost of Viagra and similar drugs.
The announcement also marks the latest steps to tackle sexual dysfunction, which has been increasingly linked to ageing.
The Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) drug watchdog, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), has announced that it will now consider ways to reduce the cost of Viagra and other similar drugs.
The announcement marks the latest measures taken to tackle sexual dysfunction, which has been linked to a range of health conditions, including high blood pressure and diabetes.
The Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) drug regulator, the TGA, will now consider ways to reduce the cost of Viagra and other similar drugs.
“The announcement marks the latest actions taken to combat the increasing costs of Viagra,” the TGA told Theaviour. “The Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) drug regulator, the TGA, will now consider ways to reduce the cost of Viagra and other similar drugs, including a reduction in the cost of the erectile dysfunction drug sildenafil, or generic Viagra, which is not available in Australia.
Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor. It is used to treat male sexual function problems such as erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension.
The PBS’s review of the cost of the erectile dysfunction drug sildenafil was also completed last year, the TGA said.
It is estimated that by 2020, more than 60 million men in the world would suffer from erectile dysfunction, compared to about 50 million men in Australia.
It is estimated by the TGA that by 2020, more than half of men in Australia would have erectile dysfunction compared with about 25 million men in the United States, with the condition affecting roughly 1% of men worldwide.
“The PBS review has demonstrated that PBS drug reviews are an important tool for ensuring safety and efficacy,” the TGA said.
“The PBS review provides a framework for assessing and reporting the financial and clinical aspects of prescribing Viagra and other similar drugs, including its cost, efficacy and safety profile,” it added.
“The PBS review will also provide advice on how to ensure the availability of safe and effective alternatives to Viagra and similar drugs, including the costs of Viagra, the cost of which is the PBS price,” the TGA said.
“The PBS review will also provide guidance on the appropriate use of other medicines and health-related behaviours to improve patient outcomes and reduce the impact of erectile dysfunction on a patient’s quality of life,” it said.
“This review is expected to be completed by the end of April 2020,” it added.
In Australia, sildenafil is available as tablets in the range of 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg, 20mg, and 30mg.
The prescription price for sildenafil is set at $0.80 per tablet.
Sildenafil is also available as sildenafil citrate tablets, the TGA explained.
“Sildenafil is a generic form of the drug Viagra, which is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. Sildenafil is a generic form of the drug Viagra, which is available in the United States and is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH),” the PBS said.
The PBS has previously highlighted the price of sildenafil as an “unmonitored” factor, which it said “is used to ensure that the medication is only prescribed for patients with a low risk of serious side effects”.
“The PBS review will assess the safety, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of sildenafil as a treatment option for patients with ED and PAH,” it said.
“Sildenafil is only indicated in men with ED and PAH, and it is not suitable for men with cardiovascular disease,” it added.

In fact, the US Food and Drug Administration approved it in 1998, but the company still faced a major challenge from the marketing. The company faced an average annual return of almost $9 billion, according to data provided by the Office of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This translates to nearly $10 billion in annual sales for Viagra. In the first two years following its launch, the company sold more than 4,000,000 units of the drug. However, the company still faced a problem, with a market share that was small. Since Viagra was originally intended for patients, there was little hope of gaining market share until a number of companies were able to develop a generic version of Viagra. Pfizer’s patent for Viagra expired in 1998, but the US company still faced a problem. This is because Viagra was not produced in the US until 2006. A new patent for the drug was set to expire in 2008, but Pfizer had to delay the process to launch its own version. This meant that the US generic drug market remained competitive and more sales were possible. However, since the company has yet to launch any generic version of Viagra, it has not yet faced competition from other manufacturers. The US patent for Viagra expired in 2012, but the generic version is still available. With the generic version of Viagra, Pfizer’s market share is now larger than in the US, and the company has not had to compete for market share until at least 2017. As a result, the company has faced competition from several companies, including Cipla, Aventis, Gilead, and Teva. In addition to these companies, Viagra also faced competition from drug companies, such as Sanofi, and other generic drugs. In 2012, the US company acquired the rights for a new patent on Viagra, and Cipla acquired the rights for a generic version. However, the patent on the generic version was invalid until the expiration of the Viagra patent in 2009. In 2017, Cipla and Sanofi launched generic versions of Viagra. Both Cipla and Sanofi have patents on the same generic version of Viagra. Since the patent for the generic version expired in 2011, other companies have developed their own versions of Viagra, with the US generic version available for sale by Cipla in 2014.
The FDA approval of Viagra was controversial, with many physicians and patients believing that the drug was effective because it was a natural product. The FDA approved it in 1998, but the company still faced a problem. The company had to make more than 400,000 units of Viagra to make the generic version. This meant that the company had to invest in other patents, such as the FDA’s patent for Viagra. The company was not allowed to sell any generic version of Viagra until 2018. In 2018, a second patent on the generic version of Viagra expired in the US. However, a third patent on the drug was still set to expire in the US in 2019. The company did not have to compete for market share until at least 2018. In addition, a new patent for Viagra expired in 2019, with the generic version available for sale by Cipla. While the patent on the generic version of Viagra expired in 2018, the company continued to make Viagra, and the patent on the generic version was still valid until the expiration of the Viagra patent. In 2018, the company purchased the rights for another patent on the same drug, a generic version of Viagra.
